VP Engineering Execution

The context

RR Solutions in Liège (global CoE) is a major player in the design and implementation of complex industrial solutions.

You are at the heart of an international ecosystem where sales teams, RRPS operations based in Friedrichshafen (DE), and your local team in Liège intersect. All operating in a matrix structure.

The order book is full, and the challenge is as much about being an inspiring leader as it is about an industrial and capacity challenge.

Projects have a lifecycle of 8 to 12 months, from the Application Engineering phase to commissioning on the client site.

You will be taking over from the current leader, who will be retiring in the coming months. You will be taking over a stable (mature) and growing (order book) organization while taking into account the imperatives of alignment with the group.

Your Mission

• Head of PM & PE: Structure and lead the Project Management and Project Engineering organization in close collaboration with RRPS in Germany.
• Member of the Local Leadership Team: Join the Liège management team, participate in strategic site decisions, and rigorously and courageously advocate for your department's and your clients' positions.
  
  The Go-Between RoleYou are the permanent translator between two worlds. On one side, commercial commitments, client needs & deadlines, and the ambitions of international subsidiaries. On the other, production capacity, technical constraints, and work organization.
  
  Your added value: transforming technical aspects into commercially viable solutions, and translating client requirements into operational roadmaps.This is a role of constant arbitration, where you sometimes have to say no, often nuance, and always explain.

Profile & Required Qualifications

· 10+ years in complex (critical) project management, coupled with a leadership role in engineering teams in an international environment.

· In-depth understanding of the power systems sector (Power Systems / Stations: emergency backup generators UPS, CHP applications, power plants, CHP applications, biogas plants or Data Center power solutions).

· QA/QC

· Excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong customer & commercial focus.

· Experience in change management and exposure to social relations

· Master's degree in engineering (preferably electromechanical) or commercial engineer with industrial experience.

· Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience would be a differentiating asset.

· Fluent English & French
